Apollo PPEC
Coming to South Hillsborough County
The care they need, the childhood they deserve.
Pediatric medical daycare, thoughtfully designed to meet children's needs while giving them opportunities to play, learn, belong, and thrive.
Planning is underway. Location and opening date to be announced.
OUR VISION
More Than Medical Care, A Place to Belong.
We believe providing exceptional medical care is only the beginning.
Children deserve experiences that bring joy, encourage curiosity, build confidence, and create meaningful connections with the people around them.
Our vision is to create a pediatric medical daycare where children look forward to coming each day, families feel confident in their child's care, and where every child's unique abilities are recognized and supported.
Whether a child's next step involves communication, movement, social participation, or greater independence in everyday routines, we believe every achievement deserves to be celebrated.
Our goal isn't to define what a child should become. It's to give them the support and opportunities to discover what they can do.

THE APOLLO DIFFERENCE
Designed With Purpose. Centered on Potential.
Every detail of Apollo PPEC's vision begins with one question:
How can we create an environment that helps each child participate as fully as possible in childhood?
Informed by occupational therapy principles, we recognize that a child's environment can either create barriers or open doors to meaningful experiences.
That's why our approach prioritizes accessible spaces, adaptable activities, sensory considerations, supportive routines, and opportunities for children to practice skills that matter in their daily lives.
Independence does not look the same for every child.
For one child, progress may mean communicating a choice. For another, it may mean participating in play with peers, managing part of a daily routine, or gaining confidence with a new skill.
At Apollo PPEC, we want to recognize the individual behind the medical needs, meet children where they are, and support them in discovering their own possibilities.
Founder & Vision Guide
Deep Roots. Shared Vision. Exceptional Care.
Apollo PPEC is founded, owned, and operated by Dr. Lovely Sultenfuss and Tyler Sultenfuss, the founders and owners of Apollo Beach Therapy Center and Life Academy, Inc. Together, they bring their expertise, passion, and longstanding commitment to South Hillsborough families into a new vision for pediatric medical daycare.
Dr. Lovely Sultenfuss, OTD, OTR/L
Inspiring Growth. Building Independence.
A Doctor of Occupational Therapy with expertise in human development across the lifespan, Dr. Lovely has made a meaningful impact on children with special needs throughout the South Shore community. As founder and Clinical Director of Apollo Beach Therapy Center, she has a gift for challenging children to discover abilities they never knew they had, making progress exciting, rewarding, and something they look forward to.
Her philosophy, “Therapy for Real Life,” empowers children to take pride in their accomplishments and carry new skills into everyday life.
Tyler Sultenfuss
Creating Experiences. Building Community.
A third-generation childcare professional and leader of Life Academy, Inc., Tyler believes exceptional childcare begins with exceptional culture. His focus is creating environments where children love to be, staff are proud to work, and families feel like valued members of a community—not simply clients.
Building on his family's decades-long legacy in Apollo Beach, Tyler brings a passion for meaningful childhood experiences, strong relationships, and bringing people together around a shared purpose.
Our Shared Commitment
Together, Dr. Lovely and Tyler are creating Apollo PPEC to combine exceptional medical care, purposeful developmental experiences, and a genuine sense of community.
Their vision is a place where children are excited to come each day, families feel supported and connected, and every child is encouraged to achieve their greatest appropriate level of independence.
Because every child deserves more than quality care. They deserve a place to belong, opportunities to grow, and a childhood filled with possibility.
